Paralegal – Conveyancing
Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for an experienced Paralegal to provide efficient support to the Conveyancing department, of a very successful law form.
Skills Required:
• Minimum of 2 years Conveyancing experience
• Ability to work independently, as well as in conjunction with the rest of the department
• Excellent telephone manner
• Multi-task in a busy environment
• Ability to prioritise
• Confident using case management systems with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word
• Strong organisational skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Calm under pressure with the ability to prioritise effectively
• Positive attitude, can-do attitude
• Effective team player.
Tasks to include:
• Opening and managing files throughout the transaction
• Obtaining title deeds, Land Registry title and plans
• Preparing Contract documentation
• Checking post and dealing with matters arising
• Dealing with post completion of files
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors etc
• Ensuring all client details are kept up to date
• Scanning and copying
• Full utilisation of the Case Management Systems
• Provide support to other fee earner’s within the department as and when required
Monday to Friday 9 am to 5.15 pm
Salary: £30,000 pa to £33,000 pa + a range of benefits to include pension, childcare vouchers, life assurance, private health insurance, length of service awards, extra days holiday on your Birthday and more!
