Laminating Press Operator

£13.00 per hour to start | Full-time | Monday–Friday | No weekends

We are currently recruiting for a Laminating Press Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team

This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing, production, machine operating or mechanical experience who is looking for a stable role with the opportunity to develop and increase their pay.

What you’ll be doing

• Operating and monitoring laminating press machinery
• Preparing and maintaining rollers and materials
• Checking finished products for quality, dimensions and defects
• Carrying out tear tests and other quality checks
• Following production instructions, drawings and specifications
• Identifying and reporting machine or production issues
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
• Following company quality, safety and AS9100 procedures

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for candidates who are:

• Mechanically minded and confident working with machinery
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Able to follow detailed instructions and work to precise specifications
• A good eye for detail with a strong focus on quality
• Ideally experienced in manufacturing, production or machine operation

2+ years of relevant experience is desirable, but candidates with transferable skills will also be considered.

Pay & Progression

Starting rate: £13.00 per hour

The starting rate will depend on your experience and performance during the skills assessment. There is scope for the rate to increase for candidates who perform well and successfully progress through the three-month probationary period.

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
