Newstaff Employment is hiring Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of Primary Schools in Dunstable and the surrounding areas. These opportunities cover Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 classes. Therefore, this is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking for flexible work, varied teaching experience, or a route into a long-term or permanent position.

Location: Dunstable
Salary: £145 – £180 per day (depending on experience and assignment)
Working Hours: Flexible

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the school or prepare lessons when required
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support pupils to achieve their learning objectives
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress where appropriate
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and school staff
  • Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
  • Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
