Production Operative – Factory – Hitchin

Newstaff Employment Services is excited to offer a position for a Production Operative – Factory at our Hitchin location. In this integral role, you will be actively involved in the production process, helping to ensure that our manufacturing operations run efficiently and safely.

As a Production Operative, your key responsibilities will include operating machinery, assembling products, and conducting quality control checks. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to work in a fast-paced factory environment. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and tend to production machinery in compliance with safety regulations.
• Assemble products with precision according to specifications.
• Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure product quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production needs.
• Assist in troubleshooting minor equipment issues during the production process.
• Participate in training and onboarding of new team members as necessary.
