Production Operative – Hitchin
Newstaff Employment is hiring a Production Operative in Hitchin to join a well-established manufacturing company. This is a great opportunity to step into a hands-on role within a clean, fast-paced production environment where accuracy and reliability are key.
📍 Location: Hitchin
💷 Salary: £12.21 per hour + accrued holiday pay
⏰ Working Hours: 6 am – 3 pm, Monday to Friday
📌 Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing light products to customer order
- Working efficiently in a production line environment
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting the wider warehouse team as required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse roles is preferred
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read and understand English instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and a team-focused approach
