Newstaff Employment is hiring reliable and motivated Production Operatives in Letchworth to support daily manufacturing operations; in this role, you will operate machinery, assemble products and maintain quality standards so production runs efficiently and on schedule.

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Job Type: Temporary with Opportunity to Go Permanent

Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently; therefore, output meets daily targets
- Assemble products accurately in line with specifications and quality standards
- Monitor production lines closely and report issues immediately to supervisors
- Carry out regular quality checks so finished goods meet required standards
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Keep your work area clean and organised to support smooth operations
- Work proactively with team members to achieve production goals
- Support the training of new colleagues when required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow instructions and production procedures accurately
- Strong teamwork skills and reliable work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Positive and proactive attitude
