Newstaff Employment is recruiting a Production Operative for full-time manufacturing and production work in Letchworth. You will assemble and prepare products, operate basic production equipment, and complete quality checks to ensure finished products meet the required standards. Full training is provided, so previous production or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.
Location: Letchworth
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a busy production team.
- Complete daily production tasks and meet agreed targets.
- Operate basic production equipment and machinery.
- Assemble and prepare products.
- Check products throughout the production process.
- Carry out quality control checks.
- Identify and report product quality issues.
- Follow production instructions and procedures.
- Handle products and materials carefully.
- Keep your workstation clean and organised.
- Follow company health and safety procedures.
- Support other members of the production team when required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- You are reliable and punctual.
- You have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- You are comfortable completing practical, hands-on work.
- You can work in a busy production environment.
- You have good attention to detail.
- You can follow instructions accurately.
- You can work independently when required.
- You work well as part of a team.
- You are willing to learn new skills.
- Previous production, manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse experience would be advantageous.
- Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
