Newstaff Employment is hiring a Production Operative in Letchworth to support a busy manufacturing team, ensuring products are produced efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Location: Letchworth
Salary: £14.00 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time / Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
- Assemble products and components accurately
- Carry out quality checks and report any defects
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Work with the team to meet daily production targets
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Report any faults or safety concerns promptly
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous production or manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable, punctual, and well organised
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Flexible approach to work when required
