Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Production Operative in Milton Keynes to support a busy metal manufacturing company, where you will handle metal forming tasks, meet daily targets, and secure a long-term temp-to-perm opportunity after three successful months.
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £12.45 per hour (pay increase after 3 months)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, weekly rotating shifts 6:00 am–2:00 pm and 12:00pm–8:00pm
Job Type: Temp to Perm, Full-time

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out weld cleaning to maintain quality standards
- Operate press forming and rolling machinery accurately
- Complete metal bending tasks in line with specifications
- Prepare components ready for assembly and dispatch
- Perform bridge pressing and studding with precision
- Operate press brake equipment safely
- Support general assembly work when required
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Production Operative or within manufacturing
- Experience working with metal forming machinery (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet daily production targets
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- A positive attitude and strong team focus
