Newstaff Employment is a local recruitment agency in Milton Keynes, currently recruiting experienced Production Operatives for a busy manufacturing company in the area. This hands-on production and manufacturing role involves working across assembly, welding, rolling, sorting, and cleaning departments. The position offers rotating Monday-to-Friday shifts and a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with a pay increase available once you secure a permanent contract.
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating 6:00 am–2:00 pm and 12:00 pm–8:00 pm shifts
Job Type: Temporary-to-Permanent / Production & Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities
- Work across different production and manufacturing departments.
- Complete assembly work as required.
- Support welding operations within the production process.
- Complete rolling and sorting duties.
- Clean products and production areas when required.
- Follow production instructions accurately.
- Complete hands-on manufacturing tasks.
- Check completed work for quality and accuracy.
- Handle materials and products safely.
- Work towards daily production targets.
- Keep your workstation clean and organised.
- Work effectively as part of the production team.
- Move between departments based on production requirements.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous production or manufacturing experience is essential.
- You are comfortable working across different production departments.
- You can complete practical, hands-on work.
- You have good attention to detail.
- You can follow production instructions accurately.
- You have a strong work ethic.
- You are reliable and punctual.
- You can work independently when required.
- You work well as part of a manufacturing team.
- You are flexible regarding your daily duties.
- You can work both rotating shift patterns.
- You must live in Milton Keynes or be able to commute reliably.
- You must have your own safety boots.
