Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing company in Milton Keynes. In this role, you will support a variety of manufacturing processes, including machine operation, metal forming, and assembly duties. Therefore, this is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a reliable and hard-working individual with previous production experience.

Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours: Rotating weekly shifts:

• Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Week 2: Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Please note: You must be able to work both shift patterns.

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general production and manufacturing duties
• Operate production machinery where trained and authorised
• Perform press forming and metal rolling tasks
• Clean welded components to the required standard
• Carry out steel cropping and metal bending duties
• Assist with assembly work when required
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Follow all company health and safety procedures
• Work as part of the production team to achieve daily targets

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is essential
• Ability to work both rotating shift patterns
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new production processes
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Applicants should live within the Milton Keynes area or be able to travel reliably to the site
