Newstaff Employment is hiring a Production Operative in Welwyn Garden City to support a busy manufacturing team, ensuring products are produced efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Salary: £14.00 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time / Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and accurately
- Assemble products to the required standard
- Carry out regular quality checks to meet specifications
- Keep the workspace clean and organised
- Work closely with the team to meet production targets
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Report faults, defects, or production issues promptly
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous production or manufacturing experience is preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
