Production Operative
Newstaff Employment are currently recruiting for a Production Operative for our client based in Flitwick. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of plastic bottle tops
Shift Pattern:
- 5 days on, 2 days off, rotating shifts
- Work: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Off: Wednesday and Thursday
- 12-hour shifts (8am – 8pm)
Pay Rate:
- £11.44 per hour plus a 20% shift premium: £13.73 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of cardboard boxes for packing finished goods
- Conducting quality inspections on products
- Stacking pallets with completed boxes
- Moving bulk bins to and from the machines and production line
- Completing production paperwork accurately
Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Able to read, write and communicate in English
- Numerically sound for completing paperwork
- Punctual with good timekeeping
- Must be reliable and able to work 12-hour shifts
- Previous experience in production or factory environments is essential
