Newstaff Employment is recruiting a Qualified Electrician for a permanent opportunity based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. You will primarily carry out domestic electrical inspection and testing within social housing properties, travelling within approximately a 30–40-mile radius of Belfast.

Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 per annum
Working Hours: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic electrical inspection and testing within social housing properties.
• Complete electrical testing accurately and in accordance with current regulations.
• Identify electrical faults, defects, and potential safety issues.
• Complete relevant inspection and testing documentation.
• Ensure all electrical work meets required quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a professional approach when working within occupied residential properties.
• Manage your daily workload and travel efficiently between allocated properties.
• Travel within approximately a 30–40-mile radius of Belfast.
• Follow company procedures and relevant health and safety requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience

• You hold an 18th Edition Electrical Qualification.
• You hold a Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation or an equivalent qualification.
• You hold a 2391 Inspection and Testing Level 3 qualification or an equivalent certificate.
• You have the technical knowledge required to carry out domestic electrical inspection and testing.
• You can work independently and manage your workload effectively.
• You have a professional and reliable approach to work.
• Experience working within social housing or domestic environments would be advantageous.

ECS, Gold Card, and JIB qualifications or accreditation would also be desirable.
