Reach and Counterbalance Driver – Dunstable

Newstaff Employment is recruiting an experienced Reach and Counterbalance Driver for warehouse work in Dunstable. You will operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to move, load, unload, and store goods safely throughout the warehouse. You will also support stock control, picking and packing, and general warehouse operations.

Location: Dunstable
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Operate Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Move products and materials around the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and containers.
• Store stock in designated warehouse locations.
• Organise and maintain inventory accurately.
• Assist with picking and packing orders.
• Complete regular forklift safety checks.
• Report equipment defects or safety concerns promptly.
• Handle goods carefully to prevent damage.
• Keep warehouse areas clean and organised.
• Follow company health and safety procedures.
• Support general warehouse duties when required.

Essential Skills & Experience

• You hold a valid Reach Forklift licence.
• You hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence.
• You have previous Reach forklift experience.
• You have previous Counterbalance forklift experience.
• You understand warehouse health and safety procedures.
• You have strong attention to detail.
• You can work safely in a fast-paced warehouse.
• You are comfortable completing manual handling duties.
• You have a good level of physical fitness.
• You can work independently and as part of a team.
• You have good communication skills.
• You are reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
