Reach and Counterbalance Driver – Dunstable

Newstaff Employment is recruiting an experienced Reach and Counterbalance Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Dunstable. You will operate both Reach and Counterbalance forklifts, move stock safely throughout the warehouse, and support loading and unloading operations.

Location: Dunstable
Salary: £15.00 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with overtime opportunities available
Job Type: Full-time / Long-term

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and containers.
• Move products and materials to designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, move, and position stock accurately.
• Carry out routine equipment inspections before use.
• Report any equipment faults or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Support general warehouse operations when required.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Work effectively with colleagues to maintain an efficient warehouse operation.

Essential Skills & Experience

• You hold valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift licences.
• You have previous forklift driving experience within a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• You can operate material handling equipment safely and confidently.
• You have strong attention to detail and can follow instructions accurately.
• You are comfortable working within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• You have good physical fitness and stamina.
• You can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• You have a reliable and professional approach to work.
