Newstaff Employment is recruiting an experienced Reach and Counterbalance Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Leighton Buzzard. You will operate both Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to safely move, locate, load, unload, and stack products while supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse.

Location: Leighton Buzzard
Salary: £15.00 per hour
Working Hours: Full-time / Part-time hours available
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles.
• Move, locate, relocate, and stack products within the warehouse.
• Pick and prepare goods accurately for dispatch and delivery.
• Carry out regular forklift safety checks before use.
• Report equipment faults or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with inventory control and stock management.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse organisation and cleanliness.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues and management to maintain an efficient warehouse operation.
• Support general warehouse duties when required.

Essential Skills & Experience

• You hold valid and in-date Reach and Counterbalance forklift licences.
• You have previous experience operating both Reach and Counterbalance forklifts within a warehouse environment.
• You have a strong understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
• You can work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
• You can work accurately while meeting deadlines.
• You have good communication skills and work effectively as part of a team.
• You have previous experience with manual handling and general warehouse operations.
• Experience with stock management and inventory control would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems would also be beneficial.
