Newstaff Employment is hiring a Reach and Counterbalance Driver in Stevenage to support warehouse operations, ensuring stock is moved, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently.
Location: Stevenage
Salary: £14.00 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Full-time hours (shift pattern to be confirmed)
Job Type: Temporary / Ongoing

Key Responsibilities
- Operate reach and counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently
- Move, stack, and load goods within the warehouse
- Carry out daily equipment checks before use
- Report any faults or safety concerns promptly
- Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders
- Maintain accurate stock and inventory records
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Work closely with the team to meet operational targets
Essential Skills & Experience
- Valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift licences
- Proven experience operating both truck types in a warehouse
- Strong understanding of forklift safety and warehouse procedures
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work
