School Site Agents / Site Managers – Milton Keynes

These roles provide an opportunity to support schools in maintaining safe, secure, and well-organised learning environments. Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £16.00 – £25.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment
Working Hours: Flexible, depending on individual school requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Open and secure school premises at the beginning and end of the day.
  • Carry out basic maintenance and minor repairs around the school.
  • Complete regular health and safety, security, and site checks.
  • Keep school buildings, grounds, and communal areas safe and well maintained.
  • Identify maintenance issues and report larger repairs when required.
  • Support contractors and other professionals working on site.
  • Monitor access to school premises and help maintain site security.
  • Respond to day-to-day facilities and maintenance requirements.
  • Work closely with school staff to keep the site running smoothly.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • You have experience in site maintenance, caretaking, facilities management, or a similar practical role.
  • Previous experience working within a school environment is desirable but not essential.
  • You have a practical and proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
  • You can confidently carry out basic repairs and general maintenance tasks.
  • You understand the importance of health and safety within a busy working environment.
  • You are reliable, organised, and able to manage your workload effectively.
  • You can work independently while communicating effectively with school staff and contractors.
  • Site Agents, Site Managers, Caretakers, Maintenance professionals, and Facilities staff are encouraged to apply.
