Newstaff Employment is hiring Secondary Supply Teachers across Luton and the surrounding areas. We work with a range of secondary schools that require qualified teachers across all subject specialisms, including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, Arts, PE, and more. Therefore, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking for flexible work, varied school experience, or a route into a long-term or permanent position.
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Salary: £150 – £220 per day (depending on experience and assignment)
Working Hours: Flexible

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons within your specialist subject area
- Follow school lesson plans and curriculum requirements
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support student progress and achievement
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Assess student understanding and provide feedback where required
- Work closely with teaching staff and school leadership teams
- Follow all safeguarding and school policies at all times
Essential Skills & Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Secondary teaching experience within a UK school environment
- Specialism in any secondary subject area
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
- Passion for supporting students and raising achievement
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply
