Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Industrial Division at our Luton Head Office. This is a true 360 recruitment role where you will take ownership of your own desk, manage client relationships, drive business development, and build long-term success within one of the region’s most established independent recruitment agencies. Therefore, this is an excellent opportunity for a proven Industrial Recruitment Consultant who wants autonomy, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to run their desk like a business within a business.
Location: Luton Head Office
Salary: £27,000 – £31,500 basic salary
Commission: Uncapped commission up to 12% at the highest tier
Holiday: 25 days annual leave after 2 years’ service, plus bank holidays

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow your own portfolio of industrial clients
- Build relationships with warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, and production businesses
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from business development through to placement and aftercare
- Source, interview, and place high-quality candidates
- Manage temporary workforce requirements, including volume bookings and shift cover
- Conduct client meetings and site visits
- Negotiate rates, terms, and commercial agreements
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships
- Monitor profitability and manage desk performance
- Support and mentor junior consultants when required
- Deliver exceptional service to both clients and candidates
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven 360 recruitment experience within the Industrial sector
- Strong knowledge of warehouse, production, and manufacturing environments
- Demonstrable success in business development and account growth
- Excellent client relationship management skills
- Experience managing temporary recruitment desks and volume bookings
- Commercial awareness and confidence in negotiating margins and rates
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
