Newstaff Employment is hiring Teaching Assistants to support Primary and Secondary Schools, as well as SEN provisions across Luton and the surrounding areas. These flexible opportunities are ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, SEN Support Staff, and individuals looking to begin a career in education. Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience and assignment)
Working Hours: Flexible

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
• Assist pupils with their learning and development
• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
• Support pupils with additional learning needs and SEN requirements
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Encourage pupil engagement and participation
• Support classroom behaviour management strategies
• Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
• Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or SEN experience is advantageous
• Positive and caring approach to supporting pupils
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, professional, and proactive attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Passion for education and helping children achieve their potential
