Newstaff Employment is hiring a Temp-to-Perm Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing company in Milton Keynes. In this role, you will work across a variety of production departments, supporting the manufacturing process and helping to ensure products are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Therefore, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced production operatives seeking a permanent position with a growing business.
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts)
- Week 1: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Week 2: 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Job Type: Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general production and manufacturing duties
- Work across departments including assembly, welding, rolling, sorting, and cleaning
- Operate machinery and equipment where trained and authorised
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Follow all company health and safety procedures
- Support colleagues to achieve daily production targets
- Assist with additional production duties when required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment is essential
- Ability to work both rotating shift patterns
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Positive attitude and willingness to work across different departments
- Reliable, punctual, and hard-working approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Safety boots are essential
- Applicants must live in Milton Keynes or be able to travel reliably to the site
