Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack goods accurately according to order requirements.
• Sort, organise and store products in designated warehouse locations.
• Assist with receiving and checking incoming deliveries.
• Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring orders are packed correctly.
• Carry out general warehouse duties to support daily operations.
• Complete basic remedial work on products or materials when required.
• Identify damaged goods and report any issues to supervisors.
• Assist with stock checks and inventory management.
• Move and handle goods safely throughout the warehouse.
• Ensure products are correctly labelled and stored.
• Maintain accurate stock handling and order preparation procedures.
• Keep warehouse workstations clean, tidy and organised.
• Follow manual handling guidelines and safe working practices.
• Use warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
• Follow instructions from warehouse supervisors and team leaders.
• Support the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Maintain attention to detail when handling and checking products.
• Report stock discrepancies or operational concerns promptly.
• Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Ability to carry out practical and physically demanding warehouse tasks.
• Confidence handling, moving and lifting goods safely.
• Good attention to detail when picking, packing and sorting products.
• Ability to follow instructions and established warehouse procedures.
• Basic understanding of stock organisation and inventory handling.
• Willingness to undertake general warehouse and remedial duties.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
• Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to tasks.
• Awareness of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to maintain accuracy while completing repetitive tasks.
