Newstaff Employment is hiring a reliable Van Driver in Luton to join a busy and fast-moving distribution team. In this role, you will deliver goods safely, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent customer service. Therefore, this is a great opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys being on the road and working as part of a professional team.
Location: Luton
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with Saturday work available during busy periods. Start times vary from 5:30 am, and finish times are usually around 4:30 pm. However, flexibility is essential due to traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
Job Type: Full-Time / Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities
- Drive a company van safely and efficiently to complete deliveries
- Carry out daily vehicle checks before each shift
- Load and unload goods carefully and securely
- Deliver goods to customers on time and in line with delivery schedules
- Complete delivery paperwork and driver records accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers at delivery locations
- Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures
- Support the wider team with additional duties when required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
- Previous van driving or delivery experience preferred
- Good knowledge of local routes, including Milton Keynes and surrounding areas
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Professional and reliable attitude
- Ability to lift and move heavy items when required
- Flexible approach to working hours
