Newstaff Employment is hiring a reliable Van Driver in Luton to join a busy and fast-moving distribution team, delivering goods safely, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent customer service.
Location: Luton
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with Saturday work offered when busy. Start times vary between 4:30 am and 6:00 am, and finish times are usually around 4:30 pm, although flexibility is essential due to traffic and delivery schedules.
Job Type: Full-time / Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities
- Drive a company van safely and efficiently to complete deliveries across local routes
- Carry out daily vehicle checks before each shift
- Load and unload goods carefully and securely
- Deliver goods to customers on time and in line with delivery schedules
- Complete delivery paperwork and driver logs accurately
- Communicate clearly with customers at delivery points
- Follow road safety rules, traffic laws, and company procedures at all times
- Support the wider team when extra deliveries or duties are required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
- Previous van driving or delivery experience is preferred
- Good knowledge of local routes, including the Milton Keynes area
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Good communication skills and a professional manner
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Willingness to lift and move heavy items when required
- Flexible approach to start and finish times
