Newstaff Employment is hiring a reliable Van Driver in Shefford to support local and regional business deliveries for a well-established client. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a professional driver looking for long-term stability and consistent weekday work.
Location: Shefford
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday with 07:00 start times
Job Type: Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver goods to businesses across Shefford and the surrounding areas
- Complete deliveries safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Load and unload the van when required
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues
- Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points
- Maintain a professional and reliable approach throughout the working day
Essential Skills & Experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous van driving experience preferred
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties when required
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
