Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Van Driver in St Albans to join a busy logistics team and ensure goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time to customers across assigned routes.
Location: St Albans
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with varying start times
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a van to deliver goods across assigned routes
- Carry out routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Load and unload goods carefully and securely
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and driver logs
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Follow all road traffic laws and company safety procedures
- Provide a professional and reliable delivery service at all times
Essential Skills & Experience
- Valid UK driving licence, Category B, with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver
- Good knowledge of local roads and delivery routes
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items when required
- Strong organisational skills and a reliable approach to work
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility with start times when needed
