Newstaff Employment is hiring a Van Driver to carry out deliveries and collections on behalf of our client based in Watford. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting laboratory samples safely and efficiently to clients across the UK while providing excellent customer service. Therefore, this is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Location: Watford
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (start times vary)

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect laboratory samples from customers across the UK
- Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly at all times
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before each shift
- Ensure samples are transported securely and in line with company procedures
- Provide excellent customer service at every collection and delivery point
- Resolve customer queries professionally when required
- Complete delivery paperwork and records accurately
- Follow all road traffic regulations and company policies
Essential Skills & Experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Minimum of three years’ driving experience on UK roads
- No more than six penalty points for minor driving offences
- Own vehicle required to travel to the depot due to varying start times
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Experience transporting temperature-controlled goods would be advantageous, although full training will be provided
