Newstaff Employment is hiring a reliable Van Driver in Luton to join a busy distribution team, delivering goods safely, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent customer service throughout each shift.

Location: Luton
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with Saturday work available when busy. Start times vary from 5:30am and finish times are usually around 4:30pm. Flexibility is essential.
Job Type: Full-time / Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a company van safely and efficiently on local delivery routes
• Carry out daily vehicle checks before each shift
• Load and unload goods carefully and securely
• Deliver goods to customers on time and in line with schedules
• Complete delivery paperwork and driver logs accurately
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
• Follow road safety laws and company procedures at all times
• Support the wider team with extra deliveries when needed
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable

Essential Skills & Experience

• Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
• Previous van driving or delivery experience is preferred
• Good knowledge of local routes, including Milton Keynes
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Good communication skills and professional manner
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Willingness to lift and move heavy items when required
• Flexible approach to working hours
