Warehouse Counterbalance Driver – Luton

Newstaff Employment Services is seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse Counterbalance Driver to join our team in Luton. In this role, you will be responsible for operating counterbalance forklifts to efficiently move, load, and stack goods within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your contribution is crucial to ensuring smooth warehouse operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety and accuracy. Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklifts to transport goods safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any faults promptly.
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring correct placement and stacking of items.
• Assist with order picking and stock replenishment tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety policies.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet daily operational targets.

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
• Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse setting.
• Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.

Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (half-hour break) – no weekends

£14.00 per hour
