Warehouse Electrical Assembly Operative – St Albans
Newstaff Employment is hiring a Warehouse Electrical Assembly Operative in St Albans to join a busy and growing team. In this role, you will assemble electrical components and equipment within a warehouse environment while ensuring high standards of quality and safety. In addition, you may occasionally attend large festival and concert installations to support on-site setup work. Therefore, this is a great opportunity for someone with electrical assembly experience who enjoys hands-on work and varied duties.
Location: St Albans
Salary: Competitive salary with potential earnings up to £35,000 per annum after a temporary period
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Job Type: Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical components and products following instructions and specifications
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation
- Assist with stock control and report shortages or damaged items
- Work closely with warehouse and production teams to meet targets
- Report equipment faults or safety concerns quickly
- Support occasional on-site installations for festivals and concerts
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in electrical assembly or warehouse assembly work
- Good understanding of electrical components and assembly methods
- Full UK driving licence required
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and hard-working attitude
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual duties
