Warehouse / Production Operative – Letchworth

Newstaff Employment is recruiting a reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse / Production Operative to join a friendly team in Letchworth Garden City. No previous experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity to begin or develop a career within production, warehousing, assembly, or electronics.

Location: Letchworth Garden City
Salary: £14.00 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products and electronic components.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Receive and organise incoming stock.
• Carry out basic quality checks on products and components.
• Maintain accurate stock records.
• Keep production and warehouse areas clean, safe, and organised.
• Handle products and materials carefully and accurately.
• Follow instructions and established production procedures.
• Support the wider team with general production and warehouse duties.

Essential Skills & Experience

• No previous production or warehouse experience is necessary.
• You are reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• You can follow instructions and work accurately.
• You have good attention to detail.
• You are comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• You have an interest in electronics or practical, hands-on work.
• Previous assembly or warehouse experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• An interest or background in science at school would also be beneficial.
