Newstaff Employment is hiring a Warehouse Operative with a Driving Licence to join a busy warehouse team in St Albans. In this role, you will carry out general warehouse duties and support local deliveries and collections using company vehicles. Therefore, this is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hard-working individual who enjoys a varied role combining warehouse and driving responsibilities.

Location: St Albans
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (30-minute break)
Job Type: Full-Time
No Weekend Work

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
• Drive company vehicles to complete local deliveries and collections
• Maintain accurate delivery and stock records
• Support inventory checks and stock control activities
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
• Carry out vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
• Follow all company health and safety procedures

Essential Skills & Experience

• Full UK driving licence
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred
• Confident and responsible driver with a good driving record
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties and physical work
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and hard-working attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
