Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Operations Manager in Milton Keynes to join a trusted B2B and e-commerce supplier of professional tools and equipment. From globally recognised brands like Makita, Milwaukee, and DeWalt to their in-house labels WellCut® and ToughMaster®, this is your chance to play a key role in a growing and dynamic company.

💷 Salary £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience + performance bonus
⏰ Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations: goods-in/goods-out, stock control, fulfilment, and distribution.
- Lead and develop the Customer Service and Returns teams to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Analyse supplier and courier performance, negotiating improved commercial terms.
- Monitor and control operational costs while implementing cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
- Oversee seamless movement of goods for both third-party and in-house brands (WellCut® and ToughMaster®).
- Develop KPIs and report performance metrics to the Managing Director.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Marketing to maintain stock levels and support sales campaigns.
- Drive a high-performance, accountable team culture.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and regulatory standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse management, ideally within eCommerce or trade retail.
- Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, hands-on approach.
- Track record of optimising operations and reducing costs across multiple departments.
- Good understanding of multi-channel sales platforms (Amazon, eBay, websites, etc.).
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel for operational analysis and reporting.
- Experience managing supply chains for branded and private-label products.
