Newstaff Employment is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operative in Stevenage to join a busy manufacturing facility. This role plays a key part in supporting smooth and efficient production processes, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Location: Stevenage
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Working Hours: Full-time (shift details to be confirmed)
Job Type: Temporary with opportunity to go permanent

Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery in line with standard operating procedures
- Assemble and pack products to meet production targets
- Carry out regular quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained
- Perform basic equipment checks and report any faults or issues
- Work closely with team members to improve production efficiency
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Follow all health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist with training new production staff when required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude
